AFL: Melbourne should share AFL finals; says Beattie
Preliminary AFL finals should be shared around Australian capital cities, QueenslandPremier PETER BEATTIE says.
BEATTIE, a strong Brisbane Lions supporter, says the Melbourne Cricket Club's contractualrequirement with the AFL that at least one of its two preliminary finals be played onthe MCG was wrong.
BEATTIE supports South Australian Premier MIKE RANN, who is seeking to have the issueinvestigated by Australia's consumer watchdog the Australian Competition and ConsumerCommission (ACCC).
