COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A federal judge has postponed the execution of an Ohio man who stabbed to death an elderly couple because he says the state has once again failed to follow its own execution policies.
Charles Lorraine was scheduled to die by injection next week and had already lost his plea for mercy to Gov. John Kasich, who denied clemency.
