SA: SA Premier talks with potential Alice Darwin rail investor
ADELAIDE, Feb 7 AAP - An international company would decide within four weeks whether
to invest in the Alice Springs to Darwin railway, South Australian Premier John Olsen
said today.
Mr Olsen met representatives of the company, which he would not name, in Hong Kong last night.
He said the company wanted to thoroughly investigate the $1.23 billion project before
deciding whether to make a funding commitment.
